Easter Seals, Opportunity Village, WARC and the
Blind Center of Nevada are non-profit
community-training centers (CTC) that service people with intellectual and
physical disabilities, providing employment, vocational training and job
placement through their different work centers and programs.
The Nevada State Purchasing Division has awarded
contracts to Easter Seals Southern Nevada, Opportunity Village,
WARC and the Blind Center of Nevada for a
wide range of services including janitorial and housekeeping services,
mailing services, package and assembly, sewing, production of
promotional materials, poly bagging and shrink wrapping. Opportunity
Village and Washoe Arc also provides shredding and destruction of confidential
documents. These contracts are awarded pursuant to NRS 333.375 and may
be used by all State Agencies, the University and Community College
System, the Court System, the Legislative Counsel Bureau and all
Political Subdivisions within the State of Nevada. These contracts
are valid from November 1, 2010 through October 31, 2012.
Agencies should contact the organizations and
negotiate programs directly. Costs will vary depending on the scope of
work. Agencies will be billed directly by the organization for the
services provided. Agencies who need to comply with HIPPA
requirements must have the organization sign a Business Agreement
Addendum (BAA) and maintain for their files. Both organizations are located and service the Las
Vegas area. The following is contact information for these contracts:
