Appeal Process
Information
The following information
has been provided to vendors as a courtesy. The Purchasing Division and
the Hearings Division may not render any advice with regard to the
appeal process; vendors are advised to refer to the statute referenced
below for further instructions on filing a notice of appeal.
Pursuant to NRS §333.370, an
individual or company who makes an unsuccessful bid or proposal may file
a notice of appeal with the Purchasing Division and Hearings Division of
the Department of Administration, this notice must be filed within the
timeframe identified in your Notification of Award letter. A bond or
other approved security equal to 25% of the total value of the contract,
issued by a company authorized to do business in the State of Nevada,
must accompany the notice of appeal submitted to the Purchasing
Division.

Surety Bond Requirements
A company issuing a surety
bond submitted to the State of Nevada must:
Be an A.M. Best A-VII rated
insurance company
Be certified by the
Department of Treasury, Financial Management Services for Nevada
Be licensed by the Nevada
Department of Business and Industry, Insurance Division
