MASTER PRICE AGREEMENT
for
COMPUTER EQUIPMENT, SOFTWARE, PERIPHERALS AND RELATED SERVICES

The following WSCA (Western States Contracting Alliance) contracts have been approved for use by all governmental entities within the State of Nevada including all State of Nevada including all State Agencies, the University and Community College System, the Court System, Legislative Counsel Bureau, Cities, Counties, Public Schools and political subdivisions.

Western States Background: The Western States Contracting Alliance (WSCA) is a voluntary consortium of 15 states. WSCA was established to maximize the savings potential of all members by creating economies of scale that result from implementing multi-state contracts.

The computer equipment, peripherals and related services contracts have been awarded to various vendors as listed below.  Awarded items are only for products listed.  The contract period is effective from September 1, 2009 through
August 31, 2012 with the possibility of one two-year or two one-year extensions.  These contracts function as permissive price agreements, meaning that use is not mandatory.

Ordering: Please obtain price quotes direct from vendor information provided and submit to State Purchasing referencing your appropriate requisition number. Orders for Nevada State Agencies will be placed by formal purchase order issued by the Nevada State Purchasing Division. With the exception of computers, laptops or file servers, orders under $5,000.00 may be placed direct with vendors and must reference the vendor specific Master Agreement. 

This agreement is NOT for the purchase of major, large hardware or hardware and software offerings and is NOT intended to be used by State Agencies for the purchase of Microsoft products other than operating systems or any software not installed on a server or SAN.  Individual units/configurations for servers and storage (SAN's etc.) are not to exceed $300,000 each; desktop units/configurations are not to exceed $100,000; printer units/configurations shall not exceed $50,000 each.  Equipment shall be defined as workstations, desktops, laptops (includes Tablet PC's), handheld (PDA) devices, projectors, servers, printers, monitors, computing hardware, including upgrade components such as memory, storage drives, and spare parts.  AUDIO VISUAL PRODUCTS (digital cameras, televisions, whiteboards, etc.) are NOT included in these agreements.  The exception to this definition is whiteboards, which can be sold as part of the Instructional Bundles, but not as a stand-alone item.
